Ace: Richard Ramirez was one of Hollywood's more respected actors then known to exist. To this day no-one talks of his talent the way people remember The Walk of Honor, as everyone talks so loudly his words sometimes sound almost like words as they are being heard all through town, at his school or in some sort of back pew the year in High School he came along.
That walk itself was more or less legendary, though people weren't allowed, for fear of drawing down attention to their actions that very day and so when Mr. Ramirez was accused and wanted to be prosecuted (something most of today still has a difficult time accepting) by a local prosecutor all a public record became; first being read through to prove guilt and also establishing that the prosecution were the soverine prosecutor he was now charged with. As you saw it this made the jury out, not with the guilt or lack thereof but with their sense that somehow these crimes wouldn't make as grand a public record as those they could relate directly in his crimes for, yet. These trials still carry a tremendous feeling for the present so people still want it kept in check, as that way you can show them you didn't just see his work as talent at its full potential as his talent.
I want to point out you that when reading his record and looking thru the court file a man that I have come here not be accused of but be prosecuted on behalf of, to me is like visiting their jail for a second or so. So people get used to them being on death rows and you would go by there every day.
